I just got from a friend a use but very behaved Nvidia 7600GS 256mb PCIE While I dont game much I would like to know weather i should replace my fully working ATI X1300 512 MB (QE/CI) works perfect. I seen the thread about people with difficulties with this card (7600GS) but it may make my life easier because i use Linux as well and ATI on linux is terrible. If you have 2 cents let me know thanks...

how did u get ATI x1300 working on the newest release 10.5.2 R2 ,i tried all possible solutions but nothing ,i have opened this thread to find any solution :

use this but do not install the 10.4.9 kexts only the atix1000.kext http://www.zshare.net/download/9416232b7133f1/ you may need to delete ALL other previously installed ati kexts; then repair permissions after you use the installer. you may need to check your device id and edit the kext plist.
