However, it's my motherboard that I am not so sure about.. I can't find any posts in regards to it on OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte S-series GA-MA78GM-S2H.

Has anybody had any success with this motherboard? Or know of a way to get Snow Leopard up and running with this hardware?

Thanks!
I did a DSDT for this the other day so yes it's very possible to run 10.6.3 on your system, your board has ati chipset controllers like PATA and SATA which you will need to get yourself ATIATA the optimized version for Leopard. Apart from that you need a AMD based bootcd like empire efi, also you need to patch your kernel with quoop's 10.3.0 kernel after you install. Audio i'm pretty sure you have alc889a codec so getting the audio to work with snow leo is easy.
