Wireless Connection issues
My specs first off:
MSI H55M-E33 Motherboard WMP300N v1 (broadcom chipset) 4GB RAM SL 10.6.6 Intel Core i5 @ 2.76GHz (clarkdale) Nvidia GALAXY gt 240 w/ GDDR5 Now to my problem: I found a relatively easy fix for how to get a linksys WMP300n wireless PCI card to work using a motherboard with two PCI slots. Unfortunately, my motherboard only has one. Does anyone know a work around? An alternative to this (if the first is not do-able) is if someone knows how to get a AE1000 (linksys/cisco) USB connector to work. second problem: before installing multibeast, i was able to select a slew of resolutions from displays in the system preferences using the generic driver. Now, after I installed the ktext, I unknowingly locked myself in a 1027x786x32 resolution. Does anyone know how to remove this lock so I can use a better resolution? This is killing my eyes on my 22'' display. Many thanks in advance |

Linksys AE1000 Adapter
I used the Linksys WUSB600N previously with a driver and kext I downloaded from http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=3 and look in the contents of the Kext. I would suggest you download the 3572 version. I merely changed the name and device id to 47 and maker to 5041 in IOKitPersonalities in the info.plist file. I presume you know how to do this.
