Well I have got the hang of osx86 - kind of, booting from hdd now works for me.

Back on topic:
At PearC they don't guarantee you that all coming updates from Apple (including coming version of OS X) will work on their systems. They just say, that until now no update has made a problem for their users.

I guess we just need to wait some more to see if Apple will really break OSX86 installations - they cannot change existing hardware but might include something, that stops us from using it on standard PCs...

Let's wait for Snow Leopard and then we'll know for sure. I can't see, why it should not boot via boot123 like with Leopard.

MacBook Alu 2,4 GHz, 4GB, Seagate 7200.4 500GB, iPhone 3G 3.0
Shuttle SG33G5, Intel C2Q Q6600 2,4 GHz, 4 GB, Samsung HE753Li (retail Leo 10.5.6), Seagate Sata for Vista, PX-810SA, Nvidia 9600 GT 512MB

SG33G5 runs Retail Leopard 10.5.6 (vanilla) thanks to boot123!
