Yep, that's right. Don't expect that PC hardware is the exact the same hardware than the one Apple is using. Maybe if possible comes an firmware upgrade for your gfx card on Apple Software Update (like for my Radeon HD2600XT) and you'll install it blindly you may crash it. In case of the Radeon HD2600XT is the Apple's Flash ROM twice as big because it has to hold the EFI and the gfx card's fimware. The OSx86 based kernals and Extensions are often much better adapted for PC hardware than Apple Retail software. And if they may appear problems with Chameleon and so on...

By the way, I think it's really impolitely to announce that you're leaving the OSx86 scene. Haha, thanks for having a nice time and all the work you did for me, but now I don't need you anymore. No good style If you're thinking that way it's possible that noone is interested in solving your problems, thought about that?
