If you're a fan of Google Reader then chances are you might be running Reader Notifier. This app is really nice as it resides in the menu bar and uses Growl notifications to let you know about updated RSS feeds. Simply clicking on the icon will open up a tab in your default browser taking you straight to Google Reader. There is only one small complaint on my behalf, and that is the icon the developers use for the menu extra, although its the official emblem it just doesn't sit too well for my liking. So with that in mind I've created a custom icon that I feel fits more accordingly with my own tastes.

To install simply navigate to wherever you've install the Reader Notifier app, right click on it to 'Show Package Contents', go to 'Resources' and drop in the new files.

I hope you like.
