Well with the new Lithium Ion batteries , battery conditioning apps. became obsolete, because the chemicals in the battery can only be bonded and pulled apart but so many times,When charging the electrons from the current flowing into the battery bond the 2 chemicals together which stores the electrons from the current that was flowing to the battery in the battery, Then when you use (or discharge) the electrons stored in the battery, the 2 chemicals separate, Then you recharge it ect. But these batteries can only be charged around a certain number of times, then they are unusable and are best recycled. On newer batteries you will see something like "Over 1000 Charges" or something simular to that.
