clock fast and iso issues

Hello,

I've installed aitkos 5i and everything worked while 10.5.5 then I ran "software updates" to 10.5.6 and now I got some issues

1) my clock is fast a full minute every 10 - TRIED - upgraded boot to chameleon 2.0, repair permissions - nothing helped

2) Some of my dmg and iso images won't mount it says "no mountable file systems" (ilife09.dmg, firefox.dmg all worked fine) - My dvd movies won't mount either.

Any idea?

here is my extension folder: http://69.108.218.45/wip
System:
INTEL BLKDP35PM CORE 2 QUAD/ INTEL P35/FSB/1333
5GB DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500GT

Hmm, i dont know about the clock speed - i`ve seen it slowing down when CPU was throttled improperly, but never seen it working too fast so i cant help here.

But about the dmg images - if you have updated to 10.5.6 as you said, you have to use Seatbelt.kext for 10.5.6 or else you might have problems with mounting images and usb drives. Give it a try.

n0cud06, do you mean in saying it goes "too fast" that the CPU jumps to 100% usage? Because that's the only thing I can think of that would make some sense.

Custom Hackintosh...AMD Athlon X2 5000+ (2.6 GHz) on GA-MA78GM-S2H...Linksys WMP300n Wireless...ALC889a sound...ATI HD 3650 PCIe...1 GB DDR2 RAM...320GB Western Digital SATA + 200GB Seagate IDE HDD...Rosewill DVD-RW IDE...Running Kalyway upgraded to 10.5.7...All Fully Functional

Ali - no cpu is normal... I don't know if this is because of the 10.5.6 update since I updated the same day I installed os x. The clock jumps a minute every 10 minutes then if you open data & time it fixes the time since it's set to auto sync with time.apple.com - disabling auto apple auto sync won't do any good either. I heard using chameleon would fix the bios problem, I tried it and the nothing changed
