But about the dmg images - if you have updated to 10.5.6 as you said, you have to use Seatbelt.kext for 10.5.6 or else you might have problems with mounting images and usb drives. Give it a try.

Thanks for your help, I did save my seatbelt and system kext from 10.5.5 b4 the update but still have problem with some dmgs also I can't burn iso images. |
