Have you tried using Marvins Utility, its in the utilities folder in applications.

You need to select number four, run it on the root of your main HD /
After it finishes select the cupid file it creates and run it on the root again, To do this select number three patch.
If you get errors as i do, you need to open the cpuid file in a text editor and remove the lines that give errors, they will be listed in the log file after running no three with errors, you pretty much need to remove everthing that has no cupid to patch.

remember you need to untick simulate for it to patch properly.
