Hey guys,
I think, I'll make a new discussion for this, 'cause it's very important for me. I've got Zeph's Leopard working and a GeForce 6600GT. Following situation: Two monitors: Benq 19" plugged in by VGA + LG 20" plugged in by DVI 1st situation: I have plugged in both monitors. Leopard starts, the boot up screen appears on both screens, and the hole System appears only on my Benq (VGA). 2nd situation: I have plugged in only the LG (DVI). Leopard starts, the boot up screen appears on it, and the hole System appears only on my LG (logical, the other screen isn't plugged in at this time). 3rd situation: I have plugged in both monitors. Leopard starts, the boot up screen appears on both screens, and the hole System appers only on my Benq. I move my mouse to "Detect monitors" (not click), plug the Benq monitor off and click (blind). The hole system appears on my LG. So the result is: - it only works one screen at one time - evey screen has got it's own desktop background and resolution - the screen's names are shown in the System Config - I want to use both screens - 'cause one off switched monitor is uncool! I've installed many NVidia kexts, actually this one: I installed only the main kext and the 128MB version - 'cause 6600 has got 128MB ... Can you help me, guys? Much greetings from Berlin, -crawle |

Ok guys,
I want to try the "Natit" Dual 0.02, because many users has reported that the GeForce 6600GT works like a dream. But I think I've already installed (many) kexts. As I know, there are the NVInject and an old Natit. So how can I delete them? Just delete the files from the Extensions? But which files do I have to delete? Greetings, -crawle |

I found these kexts "look like NVidia":

Guys, I got it working ;-)
with the 6600GT you have to use a DVI-to-VGA-Adapter to get both outputs work. Additional this this you have to backup your VGA-Bios (by NVFlash) and use NVCAP-Generator. Then you have to include the NVCAP-value in the info.plist of your kext (I recommend NVInject.kext). I will show you mine ;-) Greetings, -crawle |
