i get an error after it does its fill cache
the error is interface error 1
the connection is not stable
anyone know why it does this and how to fix it

its just that's the error I used to get with sata dvd on rev1

I couldn't it the older medevil nforce driver didn't support dvd writing, the new one is supposed to.
are you using an nforce board?

Then it looks like medevil might not have got it quite right yet.
I would inform Zeph and possibly look to see if medevil has made any more changes/newer drivers.
