Make sure your hard drive runs at a decent speed on your Hack if you use Transmission, or it will slow your computer to a crawl. Ask me how I know. 
As for Vuze, it has nice movie trailers, but felt too bloaty. Plus it'd always hang when I tried to exit it and in turn would prevent Leopard from rebooting, even if I (tried to) kill it with Activity Monitor. Glad I never got a KP from it, though.
