I actually never used zeph.'s updater, i will try it pretty soon, cause i updated my system in two different ways. (not one system twice, but once zephyrot 10.5.2 v2 and second time leo4all v3 10.5.2)
1. i updated it with kalyway 10.5.3 combo update. !! you have to do the update from another working OS X system; i have 10.5.2 on my USB drive and i installed it from there. Then install kernel. make cpuid patcher with Marvin's amd utility, reboot to single user mode and do the patching, then boot with 'update -v'. It was successful but not that easy way, i mean not 'one-click-update-install' 2. i installed it also with 10.5.3update-package for AMD i downloaded (dont know exactly where from but i can check). Installed it from the OS i was updating. Then kernel 9.3.0 before the restart. working flawlessly. So you can try these methods i did if Application Updater isnt working for you. Maybe other guys have some more clues for you. cheers! ![]() |
