there´s no extensions folder in 10.5.2 ...you need extract the extensions.mkext from 10.5.2, inject your kext and rebuild again this file, when the install finishes you need copy this file again into /system/library/extensions because the kext copied from leopard dvd is the original kext placed into install pkg and not yours.
