Apple Software Update. Is there anything I can update?
Pretty noob to hacknmac so I'll be brief. I still don't really have my head around this OS, legit version or otherwise, but each day it gets easier
![]() I installed Leo4all 10.5.6 succesfully after many failed attempts. I even managed to dual boot with Windows 7 RTM (what a pile of dog poo ![]() I understand due to apple EFI thingy and the fact I am using a patched Leopard I can't install updates? Could someone explain why not excatly, cause I see the updates and they are ever so tempting ![]() How can they kill my precious hacknmac? Cheers, Pip Last edited by pip; 11-01-2009 at 12:07 AM. |

You can install all the app's updates safely ( iTunes, FrontRow, etc. ). The only things You have to be careful about are the system updates. They mostly contain new kernel versions and often restores original GFX kexts so before installing them - make a backup of kernel, gfx kexts and system kext, and boot using them after the updates. There are few guides how to do this here @forum.
