Audio, Video and ICH10
Hey everyone, I installed iDeneb v3 successfully on a different machine, and the installer had all the right additional drivers.
However, I've since got the same box, with a different motherboard, an Asus P5Q to be exact, it has the following on-board: - Intel ICH10R - Silicon Image Sil5723 controller - Realtek ALC1200 8-channel HD Audio These seem to be newer than any osx86 released drivers, does anyone have any suggestions? So far I'm going through the installation and my WD 640GB HDD reports 128 GB, and didn't load, so I'm trying it on my external USB 80GB. I also have an ASUS EN9800GT 512MB Video card. I am in the process of trying the Nvidia patcher but, is there plans or support for this card? Update: After installing worked no problem on both WD640GB Hdd and External Seagate 80GB Hard drive, it boots into the beginning of the Apple screen, but sits there, this is the last line in verbose mode: 'using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers' Seems this is a common problem, and loading the right ACPI kexts is supposed to fix the issue? 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
