Hey guys, currently have 10.5.2 on the system below....

HP dv9428nr
Nforce 430
bcom 4311

The system recognizes the adapter. wl0 : bcom 4311 802.11 wireless / Airport_bcom43xx etc....

Problem is, i get into Os X check the wireless tray icon turn it on. Nothing, doesn't see my router or any in my area. I've read the threads and tried many different fixes. Could it be the dreaded switch issue? Funy thing is, the switch will turn the adapter off. I even did the change to en1 etc..Any ideas?
