I recently installed the from the newest dvd and for some reason when I turn my monitor off and turn it back on, all I get is a blue screen. I have NVidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB.
Never had this problem in the 10.5.1 dvd. What could be causing this problem? |

I also have a similar issue after installing Zephy's 10.5.2 on the following system:
-MSI RX2600XT T2D512EZ/D3 (DDR3 512MB) - Radeon HD 2600 XT -Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe -AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ installed LeoGraphicsUpdate 1.0 and only added the newest Natit.kext (netkas.org) and the newest ToH 9.2.0 kernel with fixed shutdown (NO SPEEDSTEP) After booting (normal or -x (Safe Boot)) i see a blue screen with mouse pointer. When i press the power-off/on button I can see my desktop for 1 second and it switches to suspend. And after pressing power the second time it comes back to normal mode and everything (QE/CI/resolution / Card Information) is fine. Can somebody help please? |

Have you injected the appropriate drivers? NVIDIA 10.5.2 NVinjects & 512MB version before you installed? Have any of you customized the installation? The LeoGraphicsUpdate I believe, were pre-patched in the current release by Zephyroth.

Yeah I selected the Nvidia option during the installation with nvinject and selected the 512 option.

Have found this on Netkas Natit Thread:
# mwetosa February 28th, 2008 | 12:23 am This blue screen with mouse issue pointer after booting could be because of the LeoGraphicsUpdate Package. Also some/all MacPro Users with an ATI HD have this problem: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6667046 I think we have to wait for an bugfix of this update. Or has somebody a workaround? tut, did solve it? # mwetosa February 28th, 2008 | 1:28 am Mac Users have solved it with resetting the PRAM: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6589133 But what should we do instead of resetting the PRAM? |

I have no issues when booting. Its after when the computer is on and I turn off the monitor. When I turn it back on, that's when I get the blue screen with no mouse pointer either. But I think I solved it by using the other DVI input on the video card. Now it works fine.

thanks, CyCLoBoT, but plugging the DVI input of the monitor into the 2nd DVI output, doesn't solve my problem. *#+,"§$&/...

this problem can't be that big ... I'm sure it's only something small to change in some plist ... or something similiar ...
