Can't Get to Install
Ok, I am 14 years old and I cannot afford a mac. I have windows 7 and modded vista's etc and can use all of them but when I saw the osx86pc project, I thought I had to give it a try.
Right, I have 3 computers, 1 desktop and 2 laptops Desktop: HP a6504.uk 2gb Ram My graphics card broke so I only have builtin 400gb hd partitioned into 120gb for Win Vista, 160gb for Win 7, 100gb for OSX and 20gb for Data AMD sempron 2ghz dual core netgear wg111 Laptop 1: Toshiba L350d 2gb Ram 256mb dedicated ati graphics 160gb partitioned into 90 for Win 7 and 70gb for OSX Amd Athlon x2 64 2ghz Laptop 2: Stone "Thingy" 1gb ram 80gb formatted to HFS+ Intel GMAX3100 I have got the stone to install before on kalyway 10.5.2 but now it isn't working and it isn't up to date. This does complete install though with iDeneb 10.5.5 but on reboot it has the spinning circle and the circle with a line through it. On both the HP and the Toshiba all it gets is 'Still Waiting for Root Device'. I have searched the internet and tried most things but still can't seem to get it to work ![]() Oh and by the way I have loads of different distro's, iDeneb, iPC, a 10.5.8 lite, 10.6.2 retail, kalyway 10.5.2 and i think i may have iatkos. Cheers people ![]() 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
