Talking Codec Dump from my ALC883 not recognized in HDAPatcher (any version)

Mobo : Asus M3N78-EMH HDMI
Audio onboard : ALC883

Can someone tell me why this dump is not working in HDAPatcher? I have been trying to get this onboard audio working forever!

Thanks!

Sorry, can't help you as I don't use the HDA Patcher. However, have you thought about buying off ebay a cheap SoundBlaster Live or Audigy and just using that? The new driver for these cards is fantastic.

iPC 10.5.6 Lenovo ThinkCentre M41 Pentium D -- VooDoo Kernel 9.5.0 Audigy 2 ZS Works!!. 7600GT EFI String (EFI Studio!).Everything works (ethernet, SATA, USB, IDE drives).

I have M3N78-EMH-HDMI and one thing I can telle you is that you re probably using the wrong codec.
This mobo uses ALC1200.This might help you.
By the way can you tell me what distro you used because I can't get any working Osx on that mobo.
Please can you tell me what customization you installed also?
Thanx

Some realtek codec use the same device id as others probably because they are compatible, like ALC885/ALC889, so if the ALC1200 codec has device id 0883 its because for realtek they can be treated the same way.
