I had same issue with my acer laptop, due to the nforce mcp 67 chipset.
If you, like me, haven't got a working osx install to inject kext into dvd, you can easily install onto an external hd. (my hint is to use the leo4allv4, which was the only one working for me) Once you install it, you have two options: you can transport your external installation to an internal hd, using something like Norton Ghost, or just create the appropriate dvd to your hardware.
These are the only ways: leo doesn't like amd+nforce
