You really don't know the answer to that? Macs are built on a very limited set of hardware. PC's AREN'T.
Firstly it's amazing that these people have OS X working on AMD systems AT ALL - there are NO true Macs that use AMD CPU's or chipsets that support AMD CPU's!
Secondly, Zephyroth built his version 1 AMD 10.5.1 to support the hardware he's using ( read: NOT every other AMD chipset known to man ). It happens to work for quite a few others - BUT it DOESN'T work in all cases! I've tried installing Zephyroth on 8 different AMD computers. It has worked successfully on three (3) of them.
There is some hardware that will never be supported. Fortunately for you, the SB600 actually is,,, with the right "drivers" ( the SB600_SATA_ATA .kext )... It'll just take more effort on your part - OR - you'll have to wait for Zephyroth's version 2!
Running both 10.5.8 and 10.6.4 on my stinking AMD/ATi machine...
