Error in the very beginning of install of iPC 10.5.6 on Dell Latitude D800.
Hi! I'm trying to install iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 (Final) on my Dell Latitude D800 ( CPU is 1,8, video Geforce FX Go 5200, bios A13).

Photos: http://img827.imageshack.us/i/img0120o.jpg/ http://img543.imageshack.us/i/img0115f.jpg/ I tried to change several settings in bios: disabled speedstep & etc, but only once I got another result: the system just rebooted without showing any errors. -v key doesn't show much, because the system reboots very quickly and I cannot even make a photo The MD5 of iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 (Final).iso is 9CEB2E8DAAA182A1071A337AD9B81E3F. I can provide sources of download, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to do it here. I recorded 2 dvds both have identical results. According to According to http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/in...#Latitude_D800 I'm using the right distrib and etc, but if someone already succeeded in installing Snow Leopard (10.6) on his Dell Latitude D800, please post what you did, I'll follow your recommendations until I haven't installed old 10.5.6. Please help! Best regards, Val. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. Last edited by vainkop; 02-20-2011 at 12:40 AM. Reason: formatting |
