few questions 10.5.6

i got a few questions with 10.5.6 i installed with ipc 10.5.6 everything went good everything works except a few things, first the about my computer does not work it flashes to a blue screen then returns to the desktop, another is the top bar doesnt work for example if i go to Go then utilities it wont load but if i go to applictions in the dock and select it it will work,and installing or updating some apps wouldnt work, itunes update wouldnt show up in software updates same with safari update its not showing up. Im running a dell dimension 3000 pentium 4 nvidia geforce 6200 with a wd blue caviar 320 gb drive. any help would be appreciated

You have to give more info for anyone to help you:
- What options and kernel did you choose in iPC?
- What mesages you see in the console?

i used the voodoo 9.5 because without it my computer would constantly reboot at startup, and then the seatbelt 10.5.5 to fix the mounting apps once downloaded. not sure what messages
