Thank you Thorazine74!!
I tried your advice and here's what i have:
iAtkos 5i Main
Bootloader
-PC EFI V9
X86 Patches
-Apple Decrypt
SMBIOS Drivers
-SMBIOS Enablers
-SMBIOS EFI Air
ACPI
-Stock ACPI modified
Disabler Kext
PS/2
Drivers
-VGA
-nVidia
-EFI Strings for nVidia
-8xxx
System
-laptop battery
Network
-Broadcom 440x
I tried the x86 ACPI but it just got hung up after the successful install on the reboot. So I erased the drive again and did the above. Goods News: You got my trackpad and keyboard working!!! BAD new----still have software for graphics for some reason.
I don't know why I can't get this freakin 8400 nVidia card to work. I hate this trial and error cause its so time consuming. I don't have a clue how to do the kext thing and already screwed it up once.....thats why I went ahead with the laptop battery and modified ACPI. The battery displays correctly. I still don't have wireless either. BUT MY MAIN CONCERN is getting that damn graphics card to work so I can play around with the "cool" apps---iweb, iphoto etc. If you can offer ANY more help...I'm listening...and thanks for all ya'll have done so far----Inspiron 1520
