Help with iDeneb 10.5.8
Hello Gentlemen,
I need a help with my Hackingtosh, I intend to migrate for x86 Mac but need it to be stable. I am using the distribution iDeneb 10.5.8 and my settings are as follows: Intel E2200 2.2 Ghz (... SSE3, SSSE3 and EM64T) 4 GB DDR2 800 Intel DG31PR Motherboard 2 HD SATA WDC 160GB and 1 HD WDC SATA TB 1.5 Video Card GeForce 8500 GT (Works 1680 x 1050 60Hz) Sound Card X-FI Titanium (Works with problems in 5.1 audio and mic) PCI Card VT6306 OHCI IEEE 1394 Firewire (not working) WI-FI Card 108Mbs Dlink DWL G520 (not working) Bluetooth USB (Works) Tested with Headset Motorola S9 and file transfer between cells. USB Webcam (not Working) Keyboard and Mouse USB (Works) I wanted a help to locate these kexts that are not working and also as possible a way to remove those that are installed and which are not necessary. Another problem is that when you shut down or restart, I get the kernel panic message. When performing the installation I not selected the kernel, I left the default. This attached images of the kernel panic. There has to change the kernel without losing the system and installed programs? Another situation, I have another HD Windows 7 x64, every time I change between Operating systems have to adjust the clock ... already researched and saw that it was necessary to maintain the BIOS clock right .. I did and still have the same problem. Any way to fix this? Another situation, I have a 1.5 TB disk where stay my projects ... exists as I write on NTFS partitions from Mac? Now one question, with the arrival of Snow 10.6 ... I can update a distribution to another? Same is possible with Windows Vista to Windows 7 or is there a need to install from scratch? I intend to buy the Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Magic Apple ... I able to use on my pc or I have some problems? Well guys, have researched a bit and as I have little time for yourself, not could solve these problems ... if you can lend a hand, thank you.
