I get kernel panic also, when I try to update to 10.5.3/4 with ASU, so I hope with this release I'll be able to get over this problem.
@LawlessPPC... did u include the SB600 kexts in it? Cause without them the install takes hours on my system with IDE drive. I think I asked you already, but don't remember what you said
