Installation problem on hp presario v3159au laptop

Disk Utility works perfectly with this version, but crashed to terminal during the installation in about 2 minutes before completion, it read "ReportCrash [779]: mkdir() failed to create /Library/Logs with error: Read-only file system", can anyone give some helps?
My Specs as bellow:
CPU: AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile TL-50(Name)
Taylor(CodeName)
AMD Turion(tm) 64x2
MotherBoard: NVIDIA Geforce 6150 A2(Chipset)
NVIDIA nForce 410/430 MCP(SouthBridge)
