@xx66stangxx: do you live in the US? if so, what state/city? do you have road runner cable? i am just curious because i am having what sounds like the exact same problem and it started happening out of nowhere. i think it has something to do with my ISP, because my powerbook is having the same problem too. i don't think it's hackintosh related. i haven't taken a look at the PCs in my house, but i suspect that they're also having slow internet issues too.
