iPC 10.5.6(7) patch and kext help needed

Hai!

I just installed iPC 10.5.6 on my PC:
  • Asus P5LD2-SE (945P/G, ICH7)
  • Intel Core2Duo E6550 @ 2.33 GHz
  • Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4870 512MB
  • Creative Soundblaster Live! 5.1
  • Terratec Aureon 7.1 Universe
  • 3 HDDs from which one (the newest) WD Caviar Blue 500GB is dedicated to MacOS and boots directly.
and after that updated to 10.5.7 with an iDeneb universal updater and installed the HD47x0 pkg. Rebooted with -v -f and everything booted OK (I can change resolution, etc).

Seems that I don't have sound even though I installed the package for my MBO soundcard. How can I fix that? Is there a way to get my Aureon or Soundblaster Live! to work (because if I can I don't care about the MBO sound at all)? How do I check 3D functionality to make sure 3D acceleration works as intended (I need to install WoW on MacOS so my GF gets to like MacOS, too)???

Please help as this is my first hackintosh system

There is a great deal of discussion on your sound card drivers. Remember that these kexts are "device ID" sensitive and you may have to edit them in order to make your particular card active.
I have two SB Live cards and both work, but only the front channel works, there is no fix for 5.1 surround sound at this time that I am aware of.

Another problem is that my computer won't wake up from sleep/screensaver. I think the problem is that the USB keyboard and mouse (G15 and G5) stopped responding because they didn't work even after a hard reset..
