Try to boot your installation using the DVD. by typing rd=diskXsY where X is the number of the HD starting to be counted with 0 & Y the partition startung to be counted with 1. (You can also find these numbers out by booting the installer again and having them displayed in the Disk-Utility.)
If this will allow your system to boot succesfully try to install the Chameleon v2 Bootloader manually (see the how-to included in the binary download for details)
