Hello everybody,
i'm trying to install MacOS 10.5 to my old HP Compaq nc6120 laptop, just to try the "mac system", but i am a complete noob at this so i dont understand most of the things you talk about here.
I'm following this installation guide and everything worked (slowly though) until the point quite at the end where the machine restarts and i should press a random key at the Darwin Bootloader and then type -v -f to go to verbose mode and load the kexts. My laptop hangs at a point where is says in yellow letters "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPCI.", followed by the seemingly infamous "Stillwaiting for root device."
Have I missed something?? Please help me!
