Java is acting weird under the voodoo kernel 1.0
Hi again,

I installed different Leopard distros (iDeneb, XxX, iPC) and when I use the voodoo kernel java doesn't let me type or edit what I typed, it doesn't dispay a software correctly, it's all white, but when I use for example the ToH 9.2.0 speedstep or sleep then java works normally.

What do you think the problem comes from?

Go to insanelymac, you will surely find it there, or extract it from your install dvd.

yeah, i could do that, but sorry, my question was about developer site or something like that, cause i have 10.5.6, so i don't want 9.2.0 kernel which limits my performance....or possibilities

You could test a modfied 9.6.0 Kernel based on Voodoo. I'm using it on iPC 10.5.6 Server on AMD and works fine.

With that being said can someone pleaaaaaase help me with my problem??

And yes I confirm that andy's kernel works just fine other than the problem I mentionned about java.

Yep I did but ti no avail. I don't think it's a hardware problem and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the kernel

You should post this issue into the official thread for voodoo kernel. If someone can help you it's them. Also try to gather some info so you can explain correctly your problem cause it's not clear.
