1. Get the Voodoo kernel and install it using OSX86Tools or a similar utility
2. Get a copy of Disabler.kext and install it using OSX86Tools, Kext Helper, or similar. This stops AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement from running so it can't brick your system.
3. Download and install the Combo 10.5.6 update using Zephyroth's ASU app.
4. Cross your fingers and let it reboot two or three times. It should now be fully updated and working properly. Just reinstall any hardware kexts you have, and you're all set EXCEPT for one thing...get a copy of seatbelt.kext 10.5.5 and install it, or you won't be able to mount disk images without getting a KP.
If this works iīm impressed. Updating from my lawless 10.5.5 to 10.5.6 did not work so far.
- 2. Isnīt Voodoo blacklisting AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement automaticly?
- 3. Voodoo readme says marvinAMDpatcher wont work with Voodoo, isnīt Zephs updater based on Marvin?
- 4. Yeah, letting it reboot more than once without fretting requires experience and patience.

Having read this i just might try another attempt at updating my test clone system
