For anyone who hasn't been blessed with the aforementioned "update package" and has Kalyway 10.5.2 on an AMD...
1. Get the Voodoo kernel and install it using OSX86Tools or a similar utility
2. Get a copy of Disabler.kext and install it using OSX86Tools, Kext Helper, or similar. This stops AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement from running so it can't brick your system.
3. (OOPS forgot this part *facepalm*) Update your EFI to one that supports a DSDT patcher. Obtain a DSDT patcher and run it. Place the file it creates in the root folder of the drive your installation resides on.
4. Download and install the Combo 10.5.6 update using Zephyroth's ASU app.
5. Cross your fingers and let it reboot two or three times. It should now be fully updated and working properly. Just reinstall any hardware kexts you have, and you're all set EXCEPT for one thing...get a copy of seatbelt.kext 10.5.5 and install it, or you won't be able to mount disk images without getting a KP.
Custom Hackintosh...AMD Athlon X2 5000+ (2.6 GHz) on GA-MA78GM-S2H...Linksys WMP300n Wireless...ALC889a sound...ATI HD 3650 PCIe...1 GB DDR2 RAM...320GB Western Digital SATA + 200GB Seagate IDE HDD...Rosewill DVD-RW IDE...Running Kalyway upgraded to 10.5.7...All Fully Functional
