Sorry if I seem like a complete tard but I've been tainted by micro(EVIL)soft, and the only other os I've really used are commodores! Lol

i use both voodoo and the disabler just to be safe but putting the kernel on is easier then adding the extension without a gui. So copy the kernel to the root of the drive and call it backup then boot press f8 as its booting at the darwin prompt and type backup -v -f
then once in the os you can use kexthelper to install the disabler kext and make a copy of backup and then call it mach_kernel to replace the old kernel. Then repair permissions for the drive. |
