When I booted it told me that my broadcom wireless card kexts arent working and need to be reinstalled. But the touchpad and keyboard built into the laptop were working. When I rebooted they weren't working anymore.

So I love the distro, worked great, I just need help with a couple of things

The laptop is a HP dv2125nr

Problems:

1. I can't boot directly into the HD, I have to press escape at first of boot to change boot device order, then I have to select the HD. I want to be able to power on the laptop and let it boot into the OS.

2. Built in touchpad and keyboard aren't working, I want to be able to use them, obviously.

3. Mini-PCI Broadcom Wi-Fi card doesn't work. Any suggestion on kexts to install?

I will keep you updated on my progress. Hope to hear some help soon.

Thanks everyone, and especially you LawlessPPC!!! Great distro!!!
ok when you boot next use the arguments -v -f at the darwin prompt screen if you have the ps2 kexts they should work. then get kexthelper and reinstall the needed ps2 kexts you'll find them you may need a different 1 for the touchpad worst case scenario plug a usb mouse in to do this and use mac built in on screen keyboard. This will give you the functions you need to be able to get touch pad and keyboard working

Try this for your wireless should work like an airport once done http://www.neonkoala.co.uk/index.php...eless&Itemid=3

Also you need to tell the bios to have your osx drive as the first one to boot from in boot devices. Thats entering the bios not just escape for temp drive boot. Probably get to the bios with f2 or delete. Then I would reinstall chameleon bootloader from within OSX
