Another 780G here now running OSX. SB700 kext is a must! My install setup was with IDE dvd drive and a SATA hdd running on Native IDE. Install took 20 minutes.
One thing I noticed is OSX only reporting 1 core instead of 3 for my Phenom Triple Core. Do I need to apply some patch for 3 cores to work?

if you look in activity monitor you'll see that there is a graph for every core. About this mac relies on smbios.kext this can be replaced to be more accurate. Trust me its using all cores just about this mac doesnt know about them |
