Only minor annonyance I had was with the Nforce drivers that refused to connect to a PPTP VPN (but no lan freezes). I had the same problem with a set of drivers I was experimenting with in Rev. 1 (check "Nforce LAN..." post on this forum) so I finally bit the bullet and bought a cheapy RTL8139 LAN card and ofcourse it works great!

The system even sleeps and resumes (mobo, display and HDD) perfect. Finally, I ran the latest Quicktime and iLIfe updates thru Software Update and didn't have to patch the CPUIDs with Marvin's Util... I guess thats due to PC_EFI working.

My DVD drive does not show up in the system profiler therefore when I put a cd in it does not mount. It worked in 10.5.1.

Did leopard boot in native resolution and can you list what hardware is working for you, please?

Time ago I downloaded Zephyroth's 10.5.1 for AMD, and it didn't work, I didn't even see the installer.... I still have hope that I will have mac on my PC.... do you think Zephyroth's 10.5.2 will work on my computer?

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4767,

Ok, I'm one step closer now. I now know what causes my problem.
When I boot in -v mode I get an error with firewire drivers and then "Still waiting for root device".
But I don't have Firewire. Here are my specs a bit more detailed:

CPU Type AMD Turion X2 Mobile , 1600 MHz
Motherboard Name FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Pa1510 Series
Motherboard Chipset ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, AMD Hammer
System Memory 896 MB (Registered DDR SDRAM)

After this ( what is on the picture ) my PC is restarting.
Any solutions? Please help!!!

P.S. I make this shot from VMware to show you the problem, but I am talking about for the PC.

My laptop is similar to yours and I get the same thing. It didn't work with 10.5.1 either though... I'm not very hopeful but if I stumble across anything that doesn't require re-building the .iso, I'll let you know. (there are some other hardware "issues" with my laptop that I think will keep OS X from working properly) OS X just doesn't work on all AMD hardware...

I already use diskpart and create partition primary id=af,but still not work.
I have leopard 10.5.2 amd.
do I need to patch something or change something in my HDD.

With some weeks of work I made it to have a nicely working Tiger, but Leopard doesn't work at all. But I'm hopeful that we'll find a solution.
I attached a pic of my errors. Maybe that will help.
