		| [cite] eMatoS:[/cite]What about the Bios update? It seems the last one is 1303, although some people got back to 1302 and older due to some issues.

 Check the ASUS forum:

There seems to be manys problems with the onboard sound device, maybe there's a workaround for you.

I don't know where I got it from but my bios is rev 1604, and the official sites have the 1603 as last beta, maybe there's a newer version for the premium hidden in the net.
 | That's very interesting... My BIOS version is not the latest (V. 1009) and my initial thought was that, so I updated the BIOS (1302 1st then 1303) but no cigar, as I said that was the only solution I found (for now); but the fact of you having a BIOS revision 1604 intrigues me... who knows if there's anything that a "hacked" bios could do about these issues.
Thank you for these information, may be very helpful in shedding some light on this obscure problem.
