Just started randomly happening, but anytime I am trying to log into my account, the login screen freezes. As soon as I click my name, the spinning ball appears. This is when I turn on my system. Any help would appreciated. Thank you.

you could try enabling root
then making a new profile see if that cures anything |

@roisoft, I can tell you that if I install again, the same problem will likely persist. This is just the way it works on a non-mac machine, lol.
@lanxxx, don't worry I cured the problem. I am making a new thread to show how embarrassing the problem was. =) |

What? Sure you can reinstall to solve your problems.
I believe to remember that you said that you installed 134 Applications, including mixing up of security/antivirus applications etc., Your system is very certainly instable or not working properly anymore now. Many of these applications like LittleSnitch modify parts of IONetworking, for example. Normally you don't need any Antivirus Applications for Mac or Linux, unless you are paranoid ![]() The only thing one needs is Little Snitch. Apply the PPF Patch to the ISO, use "Customize" to choose the packages you need, install it and be happy with a working install. If something is missing, search for your exact hardware parts at google. Search like this "Your Hardware Part + osx86" or "Your Hardware Part + InsanelyMac". (You probably knew this before) ![]() Then you are going to see within minutes whether certain parts are working or not. If they are working you will also easily find a driver, if you know how to use google ![]() Regards |

I like your responses roisoft. I find inspiring to me, really it does =) Makes me want to reconsider whether or not 135 apps is really a good thing to start with. Mac OSX for general use usually requires only about 20-30 apps. What more? I agree with you roisoft. =)

I don't have the PPF Patch. =) Let me know, thanks. I heard the release is nearing from what Zephyroth said on another discussion.
You comments about reinstalling are making me laugh about what I should install on my next Mac installation. =) Quote:
