Have an Acer 5670 Intel here, running iPC 10.5.6. I have no mouse setting in the System preferences, no battery indicator, and the system locks up when I try to open DMG files. No sound, but mic shows as working in System setting, have tried all the 883 pkgs, had it working in iDenub 10.5.4. I need to reinstall the system but am waiting to try to get the problems fixed and kexts that I need first. thx for any help you can pass along. bestman50

For the DMG's you need to install the 10.5.5 seatbelt.kext, that will solve that.

I'm afraid I won't be of much help for the other issues.

I'm testing iPC osx86 10.5.6 on Aspire 5670

this configuration works for me except for LAN and wireless

1) -v cpus=1 for DVD boot

On customize install select:

all works fluid but the only available screen resolution is 1024x768
