Hey Can anyone help me, I added all the dashboard widgets I want and most/all of the new ones are just blank.
I am the root user so I think the permissions are right, I ran diskutil and repaired permissions and ran marvins utility and found no new cupids.
All the old widgets work fine, weather and stocks update from the web fine too, just all the new widgets I download are blank!

Anyone have this same problem, or does anyone know a solution.

I got all the widgets to work, first I had to find them by downloading one and using show in finder.
They were in the shared folder, but I have no Idea why as root I can not see them.

Then I copied all the widgets from there to the widget folder in Library/widgets, this is where all the working widgets were.
Then just double click on each one and it will add a working version to your dashboard.

I would be interested if anyone knows why they won't run from the shared folder they are installed to by default.

But at least they are working now.
