You could try voodoops2 from voodooprojects.
You would need to uninstal your current ps2 drivers , the instructions they give are easy to follow. Also you may want to try a smbios patch, patch dsdt, and maybe usb mount fix, The other thing is if you look in the Insanelymac forum go to the OSX86wiki and look up your components see what you need to install or uninstall, it takes some reading but it does help Raz |

If your mouse is connected to USB installing PS/2 kexts wont affect it, obviously.
Try removing nvinject, maybe the acceleration is the one causing the lag. AsRock P45TS | C2D E8200 | GeForce 8600GTS Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 + Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7600 + Fedora 11 |

If your mouse works without acceleration but lags when acceleration is enabled, maybe you have some conflict between the graphics and the usb. I dont have any more suggestions, maybe you should post your hardware setup just in case someone with the same setup has a solution.
You may still be able to make the desktop work in your native resolution (though with software acceleration) with a kernel flag boot.plist like: Code:
<key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>"Graphics Mode"="1680x1050x32"</string> AsRock P45TS | C2D E8200 | GeForce 8600GTS Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 + Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7600 + Fedora 11 |
