Red face Need Help getting NVIDIA 7600 GT to work.

I was able to install the MAC OS X installed and are having problems installing the graphic cards. I have tried all the installers but there are never any good instructions on how to use them so i've been doing research on google and trying it how some other folks got it to work, unsuccessfully.

I tried another persons method but my computer wasnt booting up. I was able to get it up and running after a whole week cause I was tired of reinstalling the OS.

I was able to delete the NV*.kexts and Ge*.kext using the booting option and successfully logged into OS. I had previously used NVKush but it didn't work correctly. I still have some of the files from that installer in my /Extensions folder. but I dont think it's correctly installed even though the system info says otherwise.

Can someone please point me to a link online on how to install it, or which files to delete to start over without removing some of the kexts that boot up the OS (pms also work). A concrete installer and HOW to install it and what kexts to edit would be superb. I'm tired of installing the OS and not being able to boot to my desktop.

Thanks in advance, and also your time.

I have the same one and it's working perfectly using NVKush.

I would suggest you do to a clean reinstall to avoid trouble with that chaos in your extensions folder.

If you don't have QE enabled immediately after installing NVKush, you maybe will have to add your IDs to the Info.plist of the following files: GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext, NVDAResman.kext & NVkush.kext
