You could try opening the ISO on Windows (or whatever OS you are currently using) and replacing mach_kernel in the root of the disc image there from the Voodoo Kernel, or even better, AnV Kernel as it supports all 4 cores.
so in terminal you would do something like this...

cp /Path/to/kernel/mach_kernel /Volumes/iATKOS\ 5i\ disc\ image/
or (on Windows) open the ISO in something like powerISO and place mach_kernel in the disk image.
Try burning the ISO again and boot from the new kernel by typing "mach_kernel" at the boot prompt, (w/o quotes).
