Need help: LawlessPPC-10.5.4 [stuck in a loop]
I've instaled lawless 10.5.4 on my AMD and it looked to go well, untill I got to the:
1) Create an acct 2) Choose languaue 3) Inport from another mac Then it loops through those 3 steps again and again. any help would be great. Solution: Boot using "-s" flag then type ->
/sbin/mount -uw / passwd root <- Type any password you want touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone reboot then when log in screen appears, username:root, Passwd: "whatever you set it as" |

You don't by any chance know what causes the Welcome Loop? I am familiar with the problem and the fix but never heard as to what causes it. This is what im putting in
-s /sbin/mount -uw /passwd root "password" touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone but its sitting at ":/ root# appleNforceATA: found 0 units" Am I missing something? Thanks again |
