should i give up or go to the next version of ideneb??

thanks for the reply! when i get it a kernel panic it normally has something to do with my memory or something about CPU 0 i noticed. Today i was trying to encode a video with a program i found on the internet, the file encoded fully but as soon as the the program tried to do something it gave me a kernel panic again and that's when i saw it said something about my memory, i took pictures with my cell i just dont know how to get them on the computer, its a new phone my old phone i could by pulling the SD card out. But because i wasn't getting any reply's i decided to try other kernels and install options all of the alternative kernels didnt work, so i reformatted my hard drive again and did what i did to install it the first time, as soon as i would start it i would get a kernel panic about the Processor again, but i did notice before i tried all this that my memory was saying in the mac profile that my memory was ddr 400mhz when my memory is ddr2 800mhz and it did say it before all the right stuff. I'm so close to selling my PC and getting an actual mac even if it is a mac mini. using os x for the short time i did i really like it, its just i dont agree with how expensive apple products are, they work good such as i had a 5 yr old ipod, worked great till i tried to use it as an external hard drive and transfer large files between my computers, stupid but it worked till the computer reformatted the ipod to ntfs and not fat and then it wasn't even readable by the computer! off topic i know! sorry again for the length!
