Need Help with iPC 10.5.6 !!!!! 3 different computers PLZZZZ
I have three computers i'm interested in installing leopard/snow leopard on . i've downloaded and burned ipc 10.5.6 on a dvd. and i have a snow leopard retail iso on my computer.
the specs Computer 1 : from cpu-z ![]() Computer 2 : ![]() and http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...product=1818343 Computer 3 : laptop hp dv9000z ![]() i've only tried ipc on computer 2 and 3 . and my results are as follows computer 2(used ipc 10.5.6 burned to dvd) : i was able to get to the installer and all, it didn't detect the internal HDD which i have xp on as u can see in the screenshot, so i put in a 2.5 usb hdd i have in an enclosure and it detected it , i formated it to hfs+ journaled in disk utility, i reasearched a lot to see what drivers i have to select, i wasn't sure what i chipset or graphics to pick so i didn't pick any , i picked the 882 for audio and 10/100 for the internet, all the apps , voodoo, and the usb fix i think , it installed and all in abt 20 minutes, restarted and it just went to windows xp that i have on the internal HDD, i tried to boot into the USB hardrive but it didn't work and booted to xp . i tried installing again doing everything the same except for not picking voodoo and picking the intel chipset and a nvidia driver , i don't recall the name but it said it suppourted all geforce 6,7,8 drivers. no success, same thing happened for computer 3, the laptop, same dvd: didn't get to the installer , i got to this ![]() extended ![]() PLZ PLZ help me , any more info u need, i'll be willing to provide, Thank you ![]() ps: no i didn't try anything on my first computer, its what i'm doing all my work on , such as this post, so i don't wanna accidently do anything and wreck it, i wanna make sure i can do it first . |
